Dress Code: Proper golf attire is required on the course and practice areas. Short, skirts or slacks are acceptable attire with the exception of blue denim jeans. The lower edge of the hem may not be more than 4 inches above the top of the knee. Short shorts, min skirts, bare midriffs or tank tops are not proper golf attire.
Pace of Play: Players should play without delay. An open hole ahead automatically dictates that faster player be permitted to play through. It is also a good practice for a foursome to split into twosomes until they catch-up with the group ahead of them. Mark your score card at the next tee. Leave the green immediately after putting including on your last hole. Thank your foursome off the green.
Golf Carts: Once your group has teed off, proceed to your ball either through the entrance gates or by entering the fairway at 90°. Use the most direct route to reduce cart traffic in the fairways. Avoid driving on the rough as much as possible. Exit using the gates or by using the 90° rule. Carts including handcarts must stay more than 30’ from greens, bunkers and hazards. A red flag at the proshop mean all carts must stay on the cart path.
Counting Strokes: Each player is responsible for counting her own strokes; however, mistakes are made. That’s why a marker keeps track on a score card. A good practice is to announce the number of strokes when arriving at the green like “one in 3.” If the player and marker disagree on a score, they should consult with the other players in the foursome. If a disagreement still exists, just play on and resolve the issue at the end of the round with tournament official or proshop staff.
