Winter Rules—Preferred Lies We are currently playing Preferred Lies defined as 6-inch relief, mark, lift, clean, and place, no nearer the hole in the general area, including the fairways & rough. However, this does NOT apply to a ball in the bunker or in a penalty area. Play it where it lies.
